FateMaster

FateMaster is a web-based Chinese astrology workspace covering BaZi, Zi Wei Dou Shu, Liu Yao, Mei Hua Yi Shu, Qi Men Dun Jia, Tarot and the almanac. A rule engine casts the chart, then AI explains it.

FateMaster is a web workspace for Chinese metaphysics that pairs a deterministic chart engine with AI-written interpretation. Its main tools are a BaZi (Four Pillars) calculator and a Zi Wei Dou Shu chart generator. Alongside them sit Liu Yao hexagram casting, Mei Hua Yi Shu decision guidance, Qi Men Dun Jia nine-palace charts, a Chinese almanac for choosing auspicious days, and a Tarot reference included as a Western contrast. The design choice that sets it apart is the order of operations. Charts are cast by fixed rules covering solar terms, sexagenary reckoning and star placement, so identical birth data always returns an identical chart. AI only explains the finished structure, such as Ten Gods, Five Elements and luck cycles in BaZi. Birth times are first converted to true solar time, which rolls back daylight saving, corrects for longitude and applies the equation of time, using historical time data for 123 countries and regions. Beyond personal charts, the workspace offers relationship-focused modules built on BaZi: marriage compatibility, business cooperation, mother-in-law dynamics, best friends, and a relationship network that maps family, partners, colleagues and friends in one scored view. Zi Wei Dou Shu has its own two-chart marriage match. A conversational agent can draw on several of these systems at once for a combined reading after a single question. The audience is people curious about Chinese astrology who want an approachable, English-language entry point, plus readers who like cross-checking BaZi against Zi Wei. The site frames the output as a mirror for self-reflection and a reference for decisions, not a verdict. Compared with generic horoscope chatbots, it is narrower and more methodical about chart accuracy. Compared with human practitioners, it offers speed and no appointment, though it cannot replace a specialist's judgment. The homepage states that no registration is required and that starting is completely free.
