What is ProfitMap?

ProfitMap is an accounting tool that turns your P&L into a 12-month profit forecast and a short list of growth moves. Financial analysis for small business owners that converts an uploaded or QuickBooks-synced P&L into health scores, industry margin benchmarks, a 12-month forecast and a short list of profit recommendations.

ProfitMap is a financial analysis tool for small business owners who already have a profit and loss report but cannot turn it into decisions. The product accepts an Excel P&L file or pulls figures through a QuickBooks connection, then rebuilds the numbers into visual dashboards. Instead of rows of monthly revenue and expense lines, owners see a Financial Health Score built from profit margin, expense trend and revenue growth, plus a gross margin benchmark plotted against an industry average so the owner knows whether their percentage is strong or weak for their sector. The second layer is forward looking. ProfitMap generates a 12-month forecast of revenue, expenses and profit, and the Starter plan includes five scenarios for testing different assumptions. From the same data it surfaces a short set of recommendations, typically two or three specific actions, and the company frames the upside of following them in the $30K to $100K range for a year. Early warning alerts flag profit leaks before they compound, and a guided monthly review gives the owner a recurring routine rather than a one-off report. The intended user is a six or seven figure business owner, not an accountant. Founder Jordan Tait positions the product around owners who pay for bookkeeping but rarely read the output, and around coaches, bookkeepers and accountants who need separate dashboards for each client. That is where the tiering matters: Starter covers one business with three team seats, Growth adds three businesses with unlimited seats, and Scale extends to ten client accounts. Against generic accounting dashboards, ProfitMap competes on interpretation rather than record keeping. It does not replace bookkeeping, and it does not claim to fix messy books. It sits on top of them and answers a narrower question: given these numbers, what should change next?
