What is Scene?

Scene is a presentation maker tool that turns a sentence into a narrated, on-brand deck you can track. Scene turns a brief, notes, call or file into a narrated presentation in your brand, shared as one link.

Scene is a presentation tool built around a simple observation: most decks are sent but never read, so the sender ends up scheduling a meeting to explain what the slides already say. The product takes a short brief (a sentence, meeting notes, a call recording, a PDF, Word or PowerPoint file, or a link), asks a handful of clarifying questions, and assembles a story outline before it builds any slides. Anything the AI introduced is flagged in the outline, so the author can correct it in plain language or by hand before anyone sees it. The output is a deck where each slide carries a written script, paired with a narrator. Voices can be studio options or a clone of the user's own voice (the clone is listed as a Pro feature). Adding a website URL causes Scene to generate a brand kit, with colors, typefaces, photography direction and contrast checks applied across every slide. The finished Scene is shared as one link that opens in any browser without an account, optionally password protected. Viewers can listen or read, jump between chapters, and book a call or reply directly from a slide. For the sender, the value sits in the analytics. Views are reported slide by slide, showing how far each visitor got and where they stopped, alongside which visitors pressed reply or booked. A chat panel answers questions such as where viewers dropped off. The homepage frames the product around sales follow-ups, RFP and proposal responses, marketing launches, account management renewals and leadership updates, so the core audience is revenue, bid and leadership teams rather than design studios. Scene positions itself against general chat assistants, PowerPoint, Loom, Gamma, DocSend, Pitch, Vidyard, HeyGen and Synthesia, and the site carries a comparison page for each. It is an opinionated, single-purpose tool: strong when the goal is a decision from a named viewer, less suited to teams that need freeform slide design or a broader document workflow.

How do you use Scene?

  1. 1Start from whatever you already have
Open the start screen and type the brief as a sentence, or paste notes and a link, or upload a deck, PDF or call recording. The prompt is literally what you need to say.
Scene — Start from whatever you already have
  2. 2Answer the clarifying questions
Scene asks only what the story needs, such as which number should open the narrative, and offers tappable answers. This stage is where most of the total time goes.
  3. 3Approve the outline before slides are built
Review the story outline beside the chat. Every section lists its key points and what will be said; anything Scene added is marked, and you can change it in plain words or by hand.
  4. 4Brand the deck and pick a voice
Add your website so Scene builds a brand kit, then review the generated slides and their scripts. Choose a studio narrator or, on Pro, your own cloned voice, and adjust any script line before sharing.
  5. 5Share one link
From the share panel, publish to the web and copy the link. Set an optional password and check the link preview. Recipients open it in any browser without an account.
  6. 6Read the engagement report
Open the views view to see visits, slide-by-slide progress, how many listeners reached the end, and which visitors replied or booked. Ask the chat for specifics such as where viewers stopped.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Slide-level engagement data shows how far each viewer listened and where they stopped, not just whether the link was openedAI
  • Viewers need no account and no app; one browser link works across devices, with an optional passwordAI
  • The story outline is approved before slides exist, and anything the AI added is marked for reviewAI
  • Brand kit is generated from a website URL, with contrast and type size checks applied per slideAI
  • Voice can be a studio narrator or a clone of the sender's own voice on the Pro planAI

Cons

  • Audio-led delivery assumes viewers will press play; anyone who skims silently loses the narration that carries the storyAI
  • Credit pricing is hard to forecast: the site describes roughly two Scenes for $25 and about ten a month on Pro, so heavier senders need to model cost firstAI
  • Voice cloning is limited to Pro and above, which leaves the brand-voice feature out of reach on pay as you goAI
  • Design control appears guided rather than freeform, so teams wanting full slide-level layout control may find it restrictiveAI
  • No API or documented integration surface is described on the homepage, which limits embedding it in existing sales or CRM workflowsAI
