What is SheetAI?

1. 1Install the Add-on

   Go to the installation page provided by SheetAI. Click on the "Install" button to add the SheetAI add-on to your Google Sheets. A window will pop up, click on "Continue" to proceed. Select your Google account to grant access to the add-on. Allow the requested permissions for SheetAI. Congratulations! SheetAI is now installed in your Google Sheets.
2. 2Create OpenAI Account

   Sign up for an account at OpenAI account. Verify your account using your mobile number as per the instructions provided. Once verified, click on "Create new secret key" to generate your API key. Copy the generated API key to your clipboard.
3. 3Set up API Key

   Click on "Extensions" in the top menu, then select "SheetAI App" and click on "Launch". A dialog box will appear, paste the previously copied API key into the provided field. Click on "Save" to set up the API key for SheetAI.
4. 4Explorie SheetAI Functions

   SHEETAI function: Write a tagline for your content. You can also add a temperature value for more creativity. SHEETAI_LIST function: Get multiple AI-generated responses listed in different cells on your Google Sheet. SHEETAI_TABLE function: Similar to GPT, but outputs results in a table format, which is useful when dealing with tabular data. SHEETAI_EDIT function: Edit your text content using AI-powered assistance. SHEETAI_TAG function: Automatically apply relevant tags to your content. SHEETAI_EXTRACT function: Extract email addresses or country information from your data. SHEETAI_TRANSLATE function: Translate text from one language to another, e.g., from English to Hindi. SHEETAI_FILL function: Populate product catalog descriptions, clean up email lists, generate dummy data, and more.
5. 5General Functions Settings

   In SheetAI, you can customize certain parameters for your AI interactions: Response Token: Set the token limit for the AI response. For the English language, 1000 tokens are approximately 750 words. Temperature: Controls randomness in AI responses. Lower values result in less randomness, while higher values lead to more creative variations. Mode: Choose from different AI models like "gpt-3.5-turbo," "text-curie-001," "text-babbage-001," or "text-ada-001." Cache: Helps save OpenAI credits in case of reusing SheetAI functions. The cache is stored securely in your Google account for 6 hours.
