What is XpressBot?

XpressBot is an AI tool. A no-code chatbot builder and lightweight CRM that connects WhatsApp Business Cloud API, Facebook, Instagram and Telegram, with a drag and drop flow editor, shared team inbox, catalogs for in-chat selling, broadcasts and webhook-driven automation.

XpressBot is a chatbot and CRM platform built around messaging channels rather than web forms. The core of the product is a visual, drag and drop flow builder that lets a team map out an entire conversation tree on one canvas, test it, and publish it without writing code. Channels connect through Meta's WhatsApp Business Cloud API, Facebook Messenger, Instagram DMs and Telegram, and the same workspace also carries a unified team inbox, subscriber labels for segmentation, and role-based access so different agents see only the modules they need. Commerce is a big part of the pitch. WhatsApp Catalogs turn a chat thread into a storefront with product listings and checkout, and the Telegram side is described as supporting a full eCommerce flow. For merchants already on Shopify or WooCommerce, the webhook workflow pushes order notifications into WhatsApp and supports moves such as cash-on-delivery to prepaid conversion. Broadcast messaging, sales analytics, and proration and invoicing sit alongside those commerce tools. Automation is not limited to chat replies. The webhook workflow accepts data from Typeform, Google Forms, Elementor, Shopify and WooCommerce, then fires a WhatsApp message when the trigger conditions are met. OpenAI's language processing is wired in so a bot can answer free-form questions in a conversational tone instead of falling back to fixed buttons. Developers who need more control get REST style API endpoints for sending text and template messages and for adding subscribers, with a developer console for managing keys. XpressBot is aimed at small and mid-sized businesses selling in South Asia, particularly Indian merchants, judging by rupee pricing and GST or MSME documentation in the onboarding checklist. Setup is the main friction point: WhatsApp Cloud API registration requires a business email, a live website, a Facebook account, a phone number not already on WhatsApp, and a business registration certificate. XpressBot sells paid onboarding for that at a flat fee. A forever free plan exists, but every sent message, received message and webhook call consumes credits, so real volume drives cost well beyond the base subscription. Compared with Western chatbot suites, XpressBot competes on low entry pricing and bundled Meta channel support rather than on polish or breadth of native integrations.

How do you use XpressBot?

  1. 1Create an account
Register on the signup page to open a workspace. The free plan is available from the start, so channel testing does not require a card.
  2. 2Connect a messaging channel
Link WhatsApp through the Business Cloud API, or connect a Facebook page, Instagram account or Telegram bot. For Telegram you create a bot with @BotFather first; for WhatsApp you need the Meta prerequisites ready.
  3. 3Build the conversation flow
Open the drag and drop builder in the app and lay out the bot logic node by node. Test it in the same interface before publishing, and optionally switch on OpenAI replies for conversational answers.
  4. 4Invite the team and segment subscribers
Add team members and restrict their access per module with custom roles. Tag subscribers with labels so broadcasts reach the right group.
  5. 5Wire up store or form events
Configure the WhatsApp webhook workflow so form submissions or order events trigger messages. Shopify and WooCommerce users can start with order notifications and COD to prepaid nudges.
  6. 6Add API access if needed
Developers can open the API console to generate credentials and send text or template messages and add subscribers programmatically.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Visual drag and drop flow builder gives a single canvas view of the whole bot, which suits teams that do not codeAI
  • One workspace covers WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram and Telegram instead of four separate toolsAI
  • Catalog and checkout features let merchants sell inside WhatsApp and Telegram without a separate storefrontAI
  • Webhook workflow connects forms and store platforms like Typeform, Google Forms, Shopify and WooCommerce to WhatsApp triggersAI
  • OpenAI integration lets bots handle open-ended questions rather than only scripted button pathsAI

Cons

  • Every message sent, message received and webhook call burns credits, so busy accounts pay far more than the advertised base planAI
  • WhatsApp Cloud API approval demands a business email, live site, Facebook account, unused phone number and registration certificate, a heavy gate for solo sellersAI
  • Meta's per-conversation charges are billed separately and directly by Meta, on top of the subscriptionAI
  • Onboarding help for the Cloud API is a paid extra rather than included supportAI
  • Documentation and support resources lean toward the Indian market and rupee pricing, with less clarity for international billingAI
