What is AI Spend?

1. 1Sign up

   You can sign up with your email account.
2. 2Add your OpenAI API key

   Insert your OpenAI API key and give it a name. Hit "Test Key" to see if the key works. If it does, you'll see a green "Success" message. When it's successful, hit "Add account".
3. 3Wait for data

   Now it's time for coffee! Ai Spend is pulling your data from OpenAI and analyzing it. Come back in a few minutes and refresh the page. For me, it took just a minute. Once the data is pulled in once, you don't have to go through the same wait every time. It only pulls in the latest data if you come by another day.
4. 4Daily Spend

   The main chart is the daily spend. You can see how much $$$ you spent on OpenAI daily. Choose exact dates, or between presets. You'll also see different models in different colors. You can only see InstructGPT's green here since I haven't used other models with this API key.
5. 5Requests & Tokens data

   Scroll down to see daily data about your requests and tokens used. You have 2 charts - one for requests, and the other for tokens used per model. Under those 2 charts, there's a table with combined data for requests & tokens used for each model. For my API key, there's only the text-davinci-001 model data.
6. 6Email Reports

   Make sure the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly email report switches are on! This way you'll get an e-mail overview for each period comfortably into your inbox! You don't even have to log in to check analytics!

  You need to add your OpenAI API key for the analytics dashboard to be able to integrate with OpenAI. When you log into your account for the first time, you can add your API key into the popup like in Step 2 of this tutorial.
