ApplyIQ is a free job application agent built by Adzuna, the job search engine behind a large multi country listings index. It is currently in beta and sits inside a standard Adzuna account. The premise is narrow and clear: rather than helping you write cover letters, it submits applications on your behalf to roles that fit the criteria you set. Setup follows three inputs. You upload an existing CV, specify the job titles you want, and set location and salary preferences. From there, ApplyIQ's matching layer compares your skills against employer requirements and only submits an application when both sides line up: your profile suits the role and the role meets your stated conditions. Each submission generates an email with the job details, and a dashboard inside the Adzuna account keeps a running record. The tool states plainly that it does not rewrite or embellish your CV; whatever file you upload is what employers receive, and you can re-upload a revised version at any time. Guardrails matter here. ApplyIQ will not apply to a previous employer, and it limits itself to one application per company within a 60 day window. You can start, pause or stop the agent from the dashboard at any point. After 60 days the service emails to confirm you are still job hunting; if there is no reply the account pauses automatically until you reactivate it. Matching deliberately excludes personal data on age, gender, religion and ethnicity, which the company frames as removing bias from the submission process. The tool suits active jobseekers who want volume without manual form filling, particularly people applying across many similar roles in sectors like healthcare, logistics, finance and operations, where the testimonials on the page come from. It is less useful for career changers who need tailored narratives per application, since the CV is passed through untouched. Adzuna positions it against generic auto apply bots by arguing that match quality, not application count, is the differentiator.
