Learn moreTurn topics, links or documents into decks, handbooks and briefings

CurrentOrigin is a presentation tool that turns topics, links or documents into decks, handbooks and briefings. ResearchDeck generates PowerPoint decks, handbook documents and interactive HTML briefings from a topic, URL, YouTube link or an uploaded PDF or DOCX. It offers a Research Mode and a Business Mode and supports multiple languages.
ResearchDeck is one of the tools in the CurrentOrigin AI ecosystem. It takes a topic, a website link, a YouTube link or an uploaded business document and turns the material into a structured output. The three formats are an editable PowerPoint deck, a handbook document with sections, explanations and sources, and an interactive HTML briefing with visual sections, smooth navigation and theme controls. The tool runs in two modes. Research Mode starts from a topic of up to 200 characters, a web article URL or a YouTube video with available captions, and performs guided research before formatting the result. Business Mode takes a text-based PDF or DOCX of up to 8 MB and converts it into slides without internet research, keeping the document as the source of truth and preserving its metrics, names, dates and structure as closely as possible. Scanned or image-only files may not process correctly. In practice, the user picks a presentation type (executive briefing, business strategy, research and analysis, education and learning, technical architecture, or investor and pitch), adds optional logo text, footer text and a PNG or JPG logo, then generates the result. A signed-in account is required. Generation can take two to three minutes because each slide is planned, written and refined individually. Output is produced in the original language of the input, with an optional English version. Files are available for download for a limited time. The site states that sources are included where available and should be checked, and that content should be reviewed before professional, academic or public use. Large or vague topics tend to produce broader results. An assistant named Curio answers questions about modes, credits and privacy, and the site says customer content is not used to train public AI models. ResearchDeck suits students, analysts, consultants and teams who need a first-draft deck or study document rather than a general chatbot answer. Within the same ecosystem it sits beside NoteCraft for notes, DataPilot for spreadsheets and other task tools, which makes it more of a focused document generator than a standalone research platform.
