What is EntreDash?

EntreDash is an academic research tool. An AI advisory board for early stage founders and inventors. Ten or more agents across multiple frontier models probe market need, run prior-art research against live public records, and produce a cited verdict memo, usually within about fifteen minutes.

EntreDash is a web workspace built around the earliest and most uncertain stage of a company: the moment an idea exists as a sentence rather than a product. The user records the idea in plain words, and a set of specialized AI agents takes over. A Product Strategist runs a structured diagnostic one question at a time, an IP consultant handles prior-art work, and a Financial Analyst assembles projections and unit economics. Sessions are designed to finish inside roughly fifteen minutes, ending in a memo with a plain verdict and a short list of next moves. The differentiation is where the answers come from. EntreDash claims its agents query live systems of record rather than drawing on a model's training memory: patent offices worldwide, SEC EDGAR, US Census, Bureau of Labor Statistics, OpenAlex, PubMed and CrossRef, plus a scan of the open web. Tasks are routed across Claude, Gemini and GPT, with a larger pool of models available. Every claim in the resulting verdict is meant to trace back to a citable source, and the verdict is allowed to come back negative. The product extends past validation into a staged path. Later stages cover invention strategy and a prior-art search plan, a buildable design breakdown, and business artifacts such as a five-year case, a business model canvas and a vetted attorney match drawn from the USPTO roster. An Education Center pairs lessons with each step. Independent inventors and first-time founders are the obvious audience, particularly people considering a patent who want a cheap first read before paying attorney rates. The honest framing is decision speed, not certainty: it does not replace a patent attorney or a real customer conversation. Against a general chatbot it offers sourcing and workflow structure; against human consultants it trades depth and judgment for speed and a low entry price.

  2. 2Record the spark in plain words
Write the idea as a sentence or two. The dashboard is built to capture the observation before it gets lost, and everything downstream attaches to this entry.
  3. 3Watch a sample session first
Before spending the free verdict, view a recorded strategy session on a sample idea to see how the specialist agent probes and challenges an answer.
EntreDash — Watch a sample session first
  4. 4Run the strategy session
Answer the Product Strategist one question at a time as it works through the diagnostic. The board then researches market data, benchmarks competitors and sizes the opportunity.
  5. 5Read the memo and its sources
The output is a market viability memo with a verdict, TAM, SAM and SOM figures, and recommended next steps. Check each citation before acting on the conclusion.
EntreDash — Read the memo and its sources
  6. 6Move into the next stage
Follow the staged path into customer discovery, invention strategy or a business case, using the guides when the process itself is unfamiliar.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Cited verdicts pull from live public records including patent offices, SEC, Census and BLS rather than model memoryAI
  • Free first strategy session with no card, so a single evaluation costs nothingAI
  • Staged path runs from needs discovery through prior art, design and business case, with each memo building on the lastAI
  • Stated privacy terms: no human review by default, no AI training on user ideas, one click deletionAI
  • Attorney marketplace surfaces USPTO registered practitioners, useful preparation before paid legal workAI

Cons

  • Patent and market research is a starting point, and the site itself says it does not replace a patent attorneyAI
  • Published pricing covers credit packs only, so subscription and provisional patent prep details sit behind a separate pageAI
  • Nothing indicates native integrations with the tools founders already use, so memos leave via PDF or share linkAI
  • Value rests on the quality of live data retrieval, which is hard for a buyer to audit without domain knowledgeAI
  • No mobile apps are mentioned, so the workflow assumes a desktop browser sessionAI
