What is LightFeed?

LightFeed tracks store-level prices, stock and assortment across 1,000+ retailers daily, giving brands and retailers competitor price indexes, assortment gap analysis and MAP compliance evidence.

LightFeed is a competitor intelligence platform built for retail. It collects store-level prices, stock and assortment data from more than 1,000 retailers each day, spanning grocery, pharmacy, hardlines, apparel, beauty and home, along with the marketplaces and delivery apps that resell the same shelf. The product is organized around two audiences. Brands that sell through national retailers and Amazon use it to watch their own SKUs and competitors' SKUs by store, check MAP compliance, and see which retailers carry them versus the competition. Retailers competing across 100+ stores and 10k+ SKUs use it to build a competitor price index per store, weighted by KVI, and to spot assortment gaps. The core idea is granularity. Rather than a single national online price, LightFeed shows the same SKU at three different stores and indexes each one against your own shelf. Dashboards break out items where you are higher, where you are lower, out-of-band items beyond a set tolerance and out-of-stock listings excluded from the index. Matching is handled identifiers first and then verified by a model, with a review queue for ambiguous cases such as a promotional bundle that looks like a single product. Human match decisions are remembered for future runs, so the review burden should shrink over time. A separate compliance view lists listings priced below MSRP or MAP, notes whether the seller is authorized on the marketplace, and attaches the listing, store and timestamp as evidence. Exports to CSV and per-run reporting support the everyday workflow. LightFeed sits in the price monitoring and retail analytics space, aimed at category managers, pricing analysts and brand protection teams rather than general consumers. Teams that need assortment benchmarking against named national chains or a defensible evidence trail for MAP enforcement will find the fit strongest.
