Mock Interview AI runs live voice interviews with an AI interviewer that speaks, listens and follows up the way a real hiring manager would on a video call. Instead of typing answers into a chat box, candidates talk through behavioral questions, coding problems and system design scenarios while the AI reacts to what they say in the moment. Real-time voice runs over WebRTC, so the session is an actual back and forth rather than a recording that gets reviewed later. The product covers seven interview formats, including STAR-style behavioral rounds, technical questions, case and competency interviews, and culture fit. A live coding editor evaluates written code, while an interactive whiteboard lets candidates sketch architecture and explain tradeoffs out loud. The platform targets software engineers preparing for large tech companies, but product managers, consultants, data scientists and designers can use the case and competency modes too. Users can paste a job description or upload a resume to generate questions shaped around a specific company and role. After each session the tool produces a scorecard covering content quality, communication clarity, organization and confidence, with references to specific moments in the answers. Coding sessions add code quality scoring, and system design rounds get an architecture evaluation. Progress is tracked across sessions so recurring weaknesses become visible.
