Cluing is a productivity tool. Cluing pairs a web and mobile clipper for saving research with hosted AI agents that write posts, track competitors and publish dashboards from that saved context, with no terminal or API keys needed.
Cluing combines a personal knowledge base with hosted AI agents. Users capture material from webpages, PDFs, videos, social posts, newsletters and Kindle highlights, and the saved context becomes the working memory for agents that carry out tasks. The pitch is that no terminal, installs or API keys are needed, because every supported model and coding agent runs on Cluing's own infrastructure and stays on around the clock. In practice the workflow starts with capture. A browser extension or mobile capture stores a passage together with its source, the user's highlight and their own note. That material is organised into clusters, topics and snippets inside a workspace that also offers an inbox, reader, graph view, AI chat, agents, skills and connectors. Agents can then be assigned jobs the way a teammate would be: writing an SEO post from saved research, tracking competitors and reporting weekly, or building a dashboard and publishing it on a custom domain with HTTPS. Tasks can be assigned and approved from a phone, and an activity feed shows what each agent is doing. Teams are a central use case. Context, skills, connectors with encrypted secrets, tasks and agents can be shared, with custom roles and model access controls governing who can do what. Customer quotes on the page come from marketers, designers, students, founders and a security analyst, mostly describing research organisation and faster feedback on web pages. Among alternatives, Cluing sits between note-taking and clipping tools on one side and do-it-yourself agent setups such as running Claude Code locally on the other. Its comparison table argues that self-run agents stop when a laptop closes and need context pasted in every session, while Cluing keeps the saved research attached. The tradeoff is dependence on a hosted platform and a credit-based usage model for agent work. The free plan covers capture and personal context, while Pro and Team add frontier models, agent seats and shared memory.
