What is CallScrib?

CallScrib is a botless AI note-taker for Microsoft Teams that reads transcripts through the Graph API and posts structured summaries to the meeting chat within about a minute. It covers meetings and phone calls, supports 20+ languages, and starts at $5 per seat.

CallScrib is an AI note-taker built around Microsoft Teams. Instead of sending a bot into the call, it reads the transcript that Teams already produces through the Microsoft Graph API once the meeting or phone call ends. Participants see nothing extra, nobody has to admit a guest from the lobby, and the meeting looks the same as it did before installation. A structured recap with decisions, action items and next steps is then posted into the meeting or call chat, usually within about a minute of hanging up. The product is aimed at small and mid-sized teams that already live in Teams: sales groups, project managers, customer success staff and business leaders who want a searchable archive of conversations. It handles scheduled video meetings and PSTN phone calls alike, though a Teams Phone license is needed on the calling side. Summaries can be written in more than twenty languages, chosen per user in Settings, and are generated with Mistral Small 4 through a zero-retention API, with transcripts not used for model training. The vendor cites GDPR compliance, US-East data residency and a SOC 2 certification still in progress. Setup comes in two forms. The Cloud option needs a Microsoft 365 admin to install the app and enable transcription once for the whole tenant. The Desktop Agent, which sits in the macOS menu bar or Windows system tray, detects meetings on Zoom, Google Meet and Teams, so an individual can start without IT approval. Paid tiers add speaker identification, routing of action items to assignees, search and Q&A across past meetings, custom templates, and on the Business plan a shared workspace and CRM sync with HubSpot and Salesforce. Among alternatives, CallScrib sits between bot-based note-takers, which are visible in the call and deliver by email or dashboard, and Microsoft Copilot or enterprise conversation platforms that cost considerably more. Its pitch is low per-seat pricing, delivery inside Teams chat and independence from bot restrictions, with a free tier of seven meetings a month for testing.
