What is Dayora?

Dayora is a web-based AI journal that replies to every written or spoken entry, tracks mood, remembers context and surfaces patterns. The core is free with no ads; an optional Plus tier adds voice calls and deeper reports.

Dayora is a web-based journaling app that replies to what you write. Type a sentence or a full page, or speak it, and the app returns a short reflection: what it heard, something you may not see from inside the entry, and occasionally one small thing to try. Reply length follows entry length, so a fifteen-word note gets a line or two while a long, difficult entry gets a fuller response. Venting is met without advice, and large decisions are left with the writer. Beyond single replies, the app builds context over time. It keeps a short list of facts drawn from entries (editable and deletable), looks across recent entries for recurring themes, and shows mood on a five-point scale across a year. A feature called Your Circle picks out the people you mention and shows how you tend to feel around them. After a heavy entry, Dayora can also email a follow-up question several hours later. The free core covers unlimited entries, voice journaling with transcription, Reflect chat, letters to your future self and export to JSON, PDF or Word. The audience is anyone who wants a journal that does more than store text, including people using it for anxiety journaling, though it is described as a wellness tool and not a substitute for professional care. An optional paid tier, Dayora Plus, adds voice calls, a morning letter, long-window Deep Self Reports, mirror moments and relationship stories. Funding comes from that tier instead of ads. Privacy deserves a careful read. Entries are sent to OpenAI to generate reflections, and under Dayora's agreement that content can be used to train OpenAI's models. Call audio is also retained. Among alternatives, it sits between plain note-based journals and general chatbots: more reflective and memory-aware than the former, more structured and mood-focused than the latter. Eleven interface languages are supported.
