What is Imaginator?

Imaginator is a duplicate image tool. A pay as you go text to image generator with Flux support, three aspect ratios, one credit per image and full commercial ownership of the output. Image editing and variations are announced but not yet live.

Imaginator is a browser based text to image generator built by Developer Service. The premise is deliberately narrow: you type a description, the tool renders it, and a sample gallery of prompts (a far future city concept piece, a tone mapped old harbour, a cyborg portrait overtaken by alien fungus, pastel painted sunflowers) shows the visual range it targets. Recent builds add support for the Flux model, which sits alongside the tool's original rendering backend. The workflow is one screen. You write a prompt, pick an aspect ratio from 1:1, 16:9 or 9:16, and press generate. The interface keeps a running credit counter next to the prompt box. Each generation spends exactly one credit, so the cost of experimenting is easy to track. The team is explicit that longer, denser prompts perform better, and the form itself repeats that advice. Images produced are owned by the person who generated them and can be used commercially or otherwise, which removes a common licensing worry for freelancers and small studios. Pricing avoids subscriptions entirely. Credits are sold in three one off bundles: $10 for 15 images, $20 for 35 images and $30 for 65 images, which works out to roughly $0.67 down to $0.46 per image as the bundle grows. After purchase you receive a code to redeem in the app, and you can top up whenever the counter runs low. The obvious comparison is with subscription image tools that bundle many features; Imaginator trades that breadth for pay as you go simplicity. Editing and extend image functionality (mask based changes to an existing picture) and image variations are both listed on the site as coming soon, so today the product is a pure generation tool. That makes it a reasonable fit for writers, indie developers and marketers who need occasional concept art or placeholder visuals without committing to a monthly plan, and a poor fit for anyone whose workflow depends on inpainting or iterating on an existing photo right now.

How do you use Imaginator?

  1. 1Open the app and locate the try it now panel
Scroll to the Generate section on the homepage. The credit counter shows your current balance, which starts at zero until a code is redeemed.
  2. 2Buy a credit bundle
Pick Basic, Premium or Ultimate from the pricing block and complete checkout through Stripe. You receive a redemption code after purchase.
  3. 3Redeem your code
Paste the code into the redeem field in the generator panel and apply it. The credit counter updates to the number of images you bought.
  4. 4Write a detailed prompt
Describe the scene, style, lighting and subject as specifically as possible. The site stresses that more detail produces a closer match to what you pictured.
  5. 5Choose an aspect ratio and generate
Select 1:1, 16:9 or 9:16 depending on whether the image is for a square post, a wide banner or a vertical format, then press Generate. One credit is deducted.
  6. 6Refill when the counter runs low
There is no auto renewal. Return to the pricing section and buy another bundle whenever your credits are used up.
