SearchQ is a multi-model AI chat that removes two recurring chores from everyday AI use: deciding which model to ask, and deciding whether the answer can be trusted. Every question is routed automatically to the model judged most suitable from a pool of more than 100 frontier models across the major labs, so users do not need to know their Opus from their Gemini. Manual pinning is available for people who already know what they want. The accuracy layer is the distinguishing feature. After routing, a council of several models answers the same question in parallel, a separate peer model then fact-checks each claim and marks it verified, questionable or unsupported directly in the text, and the agreed facts are fused into a single answer. Web search runs continuously, so answers carry clickable citations rather than relying only on training data. Documents are supported too: PDFs, images and files, including scanned pages through OCR. Voice input handles questions that are easier to speak than type. Privacy is treated as a per-conversation setting rather than a blanket policy. Cloud mode syncs chats to an account and keeps them searchable. Encrypted mode runs inside a confidential-compute enclave that cannot read prompts, including by SearchQ itself. Local mode runs the model in the browser, offline, so nothing leaves the machine, and documents in Local mode are processed on-device as well. Incognito can be layered on any of the three, keeping no history and self-deleting when the tab closes. Conversations are never used for model training. The tool suits professionals with confidential material (legal, medical, journalism, founders), researchers and analysts who have been burned by confident hallucinations, and anyone paying for several AI subscriptions and still copying prompts between tabs. It competes with single-lab chatbots and with multi-model aggregators, differentiating on the verification pipeline and the on-device privacy tier rather than on any one underlying model.
