Learn morePaperless liability waivers signed by QR code on any phone

WaiverKit replaces paper clipboards with digital waivers that customers sign on their phone via QR code. Each signing yields a timestamped PDF with an evidence record in a searchable archive, with an AI drafting assistant and a free plan.
WaiverKit is a digital waiver platform for businesses that still collect liability and consent forms on paper. A business builds a waiver template, shares it as a QR code or link, and customers read and sign on their own phone with a fingertip. No app or extra hardware is needed. Each signing produces a timestamped PDF that lands in a searchable archive. The product is aimed at venues where customers must sign before they start: climbing gyms, yoga studios, tattoo shops, martial arts schools, escape rooms, equipment rental, spas, pet daycare, kids activities and event spaces. Dedicated industry pages show how the templates and flow adapt to each case. In practice, a waiver is created either in a drag-and-drop form builder (text fields, checkboxes, date pickers, signature blocks) or by describing the need to an AI Composer, which drafts a full form that can be refined by chat or edited by hand. The QR code can be printed as a poster, embedded on a website or pasted into email, SMS or a booking flow. Every signature is stored with an evidence record: server timestamp, IP address, device details, consent text version and a SHA-256 hash of the exact template shown, intended to support ESIGN and UETA workflows. Signers who leave an email receive the signed PDF, and the owner is notified of each new signature. Staff can search the archive by name or email, filter by template or status, and open the exact PDF when someone asks for it. Higher plans add CSV export and one-click translation into 19 languages, with a review step before publishing. Data handling is spelled out: records sit in a PostgreSQL database in Germany, files in an EU-restricted storage bucket, with sign-in and payments handled by US processors. The site is candid that enforceability of waiver terms is a matter for courts, and that translated templates have no jurisdiction-specific legal review. Among alternatives, WaiverKit sits between heavyweight e-signature suites and booking-system add-ons: it is narrower in scope, but cheaper and quicker to deploy for a small operator. A free tier makes it easy to test with real customers.
