Learn moreTurn a topic, script or PDF into a narrated whiteboard video

Ankon AI is an education tool that turns a topic, script or PDF into a narrated whiteboard video. Ankon AI generates narrated, captioned whiteboard explainer videos from a topic, script, PDF or image. It outputs an MP4, SRT file and YouTube metadata, supports 13 languages and voice cloning, and offers team workspaces plus a REST API and MCP.
Ankon AI is a web-based generator for narrated whiteboard explainer videos. A user supplies a topic, a pasted script, a PDF or a reference image, and the system drafts the narration, draws each scene line by line in time with the voiceover, and adds word-by-word captions. The finished package is an MP4 with burned-in captions, a separate SRT subtitle file, a thumbnail, and a ready-made title, description and chapter timestamps for YouTube. The audience is people who already publish written material but have no video presence: newsletter writers repurposing issues for LinkedIn and TikTok, micro-SaaS founders who need a "how it works" clip for a landing page, course instructors turning lecture notes into modules, and blog publishers condensing long posts. In practice, a creator chooses vertical (9:16) or landscape (16:9), picks one of 13 narration languages with male and female voices, and can optionally clone their own voice from a 10-second recording. Two add-ons exist: Enhance, which renders richer visuals, and an independent fact-check pass that flags invented claims. A one-minute short typically renders in one to three minutes. Billing is volume-based rather than feature-gated. One credit equals roughly one minute of finished video, with a two-credit minimum per video, and failed renders are refunded automatically. Monthly plans run from Starter to Studio, with pay-as-you-go top-ups available to subscribers. Team workspaces share a single credit pool with owner, admin and member roles. Among alternatives, Ankon sits between manual whiteboard tools such as Doodly and VideoScribe, where the user animates their own artwork and records audio, and avatar-based presenters such as Synthesia. It aims at zero authoring. Developers can also call it through a REST API or connect it to Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients, which suits automated content workflows.
