What is Entelligence?

Entelligence is a developer tool. Entelligence routes each AI coding agent turn to the cheapest model that clears your quality floor, then reviews pull requests against a shared graph of code, deploys and past incidents. It targets teams running Claude Code, Codex or Cursor at scale and want spend and review quality in one place.

Entelligence is a cost and quality layer for teams running AI coding agents in production. The core idea is that most agent work does not need a frontier model, so the router scores each turn against a quality floor you define and hands the task to the cheapest model that clears it, escalating only when the work warrants it. The result is spend you can trace per session and per merged pull request rather than a single opaque bill at the end of the month. Underneath sits what the company calls a world model: one graph that ingests agent sessions, pull requests, deploys and incidents as they happen. Code review reads from that same graph. Separate passes check a diff for security, performance, precedent and contracts, and a resolved incident becomes a rule the next PR is tested against. That is the mechanism behind the pitch that bugs should not ship twice. The same memory powers weekly release notes, a per engineer view of spend against merged PRs, and token waste tracking that shows where context is being rebuilt unnecessarily. In practice the tool plugs into an existing workflow rather than replacing it. A CLI wraps Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, an MCP server answers requests from outside assistants, and Ellie responds in Slack when spend spikes or a release correlates with a drop in conversion. Setup starts with connecting a repository, and all three surfaces share the resulting index. It is aimed at engineering organizations large enough to feel agent spend, typically teams with several repos and a review bottleneck, rather than individual hobbyists. Against plain model subscriptions or standalone review bots, Entelligence competes on routing and on the memory that ties reviews to real incidents. The trade off is that its value grows with your history, so a brand new codebase has little precedent to draw on at first.

How do you use Entelligence?

  1. 1Create an account and connect a repository
Sign up on the app, then point Entelligence at the repos and pull requests your team already uses. No workflow change is required for the index to start building.

  2. 2Install and authenticate the CLI
Run the install script, then authenticate with the ellie auth login command so the local agent sessions can be attributed to your account.

  3. 3Turn the router on and pick a tier
Enable routing with ellie router on and choose a tier such as Balanced or Eco. Claude Code, Codex and Cursor sessions then route through Entelligence from the next turn.
  4. 4Let the world model ingest history
As sessions, PRs and incidents accumulate, the shared graph fills in. Reviews start citing specific past incidents instead of generic patterns, and cost attribution becomes meaningful per repo.
  5. 5Review cost and quality in the platform
Open Agent Insights to check spend per developer, retry rate and token waste, and use the per-repo breakdown to see where routing is saving money and where review coverage is thin.
  6. 6Compare against the benchmark before committing
Read the benchmark report to see how cost per verified bug was measured and judge whether the method holds for your codebase before moving to a paid band.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Per-turn routing rather than per-project model choice, so cheap models handle grunt work and frontier models stay for hard turns.AI
  • One shared index for sessions, PRs, deploys and incidents, which means a single repo connection sets up review, routing and insights together.AI
  • Review passes are separated by concern (security, performance, precedent, contracts) instead of one generic comment stream.AI
  • Cost reporting is tied to merged PRs and per-repo figures, which makes agent budgets easier to defend internally.AI
  • Published benchmark methodology lets you check the cost-per-verified-bug claims rather than take them on faith.AI

Cons

  • The quality floor is only as good as your own judgment, and a poorly set threshold can let weak turns through or defeat the savings.AI
  • Much of the value depends on accumulated incident and PR history, so new repositories or teams get less from the memory early on.AI
  • Pricing is banded by team size and monthly review volume, which makes costs harder to predict for teams with spiky review load.AI
  • It is a layer around existing agents rather than a replacement, so you still pay for the underlying model providers on top.AI
  • The engineering-facing surfaces (CLI, MCP, Slack) assume a fairly mature workflow; smaller shops may find the setup heavier than needed.AI

Features

Model Router scores every turn against your quality floor and escalates only when needed. The world model indexes code, PRs, deploys, incidents and agent sessions into one graph. Code Review runs parallel passes for security, performance, precedent and contracts, and turns resolved incidents into rules. Agent Insights reports spend per developer, retry rate and token waste, with ledgers and cost flow per task. Slack and weekly release notes surface spend spikes and release impact.
