FreePlanTour is an AI travel planner aimed at organisations that hand out trip recommendations: tourist offices, hotels, travel agencies and independent planners. A destination is entered in any language and the platform assembles a day by day itinerary with recommended places, saved to a database so it can be retrieved later or forwarded by email. Each generated plan is published as its own small website with a unique address, giving travelers something to revisit before and during the trip instead of a static PDF. The distinguishing idea is that AI output is treated as a first draft. Every itinerary can be opened, reviewed and rewritten by a travel expert, so the final version carries human judgement on top of the generated suggestions. From the same itinerary the platform produces a multilingual audio guide in one click, and each day displays an estimated CO2 footprint alongside the savings from taking public transport rather than a car. During the trip, an interactive map and a chatbot provide assistance, with direct links to Google Maps, public transport routes and real time occupancy information. In practice the tool suits two audiences. Individual travelers get two itineraries free after signing up with an email address or Google account, and they can customise days and places, add their own photos and share the result. Organisations use it as white label infrastructure: the site claims deployment in one day with no maintenance, working from existing data, and says itineraries reflect the operator's brand. Published figures include 130 or more available languages, 150K+ itineraries generated and 1K+ users. The competitive position is narrower and more operational than consumer trip planners. Generic AI chatbots return text that someone still has to format and distribute. FreePlanTour packages the output as a branded, shareable site with audio, sustainability estimates and in trip assistance, which is closer to destination marketing software than to a holiday brainstorming app. It won the Fitur 2025 award in the tourism innovation category, and success stories from a hotel, a municipal tourist office and a tourism board are documented on the site.
