It aims to bring a full non-linear editing workflow to a touchscreen: a full-screen timeline, stacked layers for video, images, text, stickers and effects, and a large store of downloadable assets. The homepage reports more than 750 million downloads and a 4.6 out of 5 rating from over six million editors. The tool covers both manual editing and AI-assisted shortcuts. On the manual side there is chroma key with alpha mask visualization, corner pin for placing footage onto screens and walls, color grading controls, speed changes from one eighth to 16 times, reverse playback, a keyframe graph for animation timing, and an audio editor with pitch, EQ, reverb and voice modulation.
