What is MakeLesson?

MakeLesson is a content generation tool that turns PDFs, photos or topics into auto-graded interactive lessons for tutors. MakeLesson converts PDFs, photos, text or topics into interactive, auto-graded lessons that students open from one link. It adds a review dashboard, a lesson calendar, payment tracking and Telegram reminders for tutors and independent teachers.

MakeLesson is a web-based exercise and assignment platform aimed at private tutors, independent teachers, online teachers and small language schools. It takes material a teacher already has, such as a PDF handout, a scan, a photo of a textbook page, pasted text or just a topic, and converts it into an editable interactive lesson. Ten exercise types are supported: multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, dropdown select, matching, drag and categorize, unscramble, crossword, listening, multi-speaker dialogue and open writing. Audio is generated with text-to-speech, and images can be generated as well. In practice, a teacher describes or uploads the source, lets the AI draft the lesson, and then adjusts it by typing instructions in plain language instead of working through menus. The finished lesson is shared as a single link, embedded as a live widget on a Miro board, or exported as a PDF. Students open it on any phone, tablet or laptop without an account or installation. Exercises are designed for touch first, with native keyboards for typed answers and drag interactions meant to work on inexpensive phones. Marking is split sensibly. Objective answers are graded the moment a student submits, while open writing is left for the teacher. A submissions dashboard lists pending and reviewed work, lets the teacher mark answers, comment on individual responses and set a rating, and nothing reaches the student until the teacher finalizes. An optional automatic first pass can suggest ratings and flag answers worth a second look. Beyond lesson creation, MakeLesson doubles as lightweight tutor management software. It includes a weekly calendar for one-to-one and group lessons, payment tracking with per-student hourly prices, monthly income totals and Telegram reminders. Among alternatives, it sits between general worksheet generators and full tutoring suites: narrower than a learning management system, but unusual in combining AI lesson drafting, grading, scheduling and payments in one account. Credits meter the AI features, while manual editing and the rest of the product are not metered.

How do you use MakeLesson?

  1. 1Start from your own material
Open the app and choose a source: a topic or text prompt, a photo of a textbook page, or a PDF handout. Let the AI draft a lesson or build one by hand.

  2. 2Refine the lesson by chatting
Type what to change, such as rewriting a question, switching the exercise type or altering the layout. No editor or settings panels are required.
  3. 3Share one link with students
Send the lesson link in class or as homework, or embed it on a Miro board. Students can complete it as guests on any device.
  4. 4Review submissions in the dashboard
Objective answers arrive already graded. Mark open writing, comment on individual answers, set a rating and finalize so the student can see the feedback.
  5. 5Set up calendar and payments
Add students with an hourly price, schedule one-to-one or group lessons, and press Paid when money arrives to see who owes you.
