What is Riffkit?

Riffkit turns a winning TikTok, Reel or Short into a new video with your product, character and language. Its Swap and Adapt modes keep either the shots or the formula, and output ships with captions, hashtags and commercial rights.

Riffkit is a web-based short video generator built for people who make TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts content and want to start from something that already performed. Rather than editing a clip or generating a video from a blank prompt, it analyzes a source video and produces a new one, with every frame newly generated instead of re-uploading the original footage. The product offers two main modes. Swap keeps the original shots, cuts, timing and music, and changes the person, product, setting or overall look, such as redrawing a clip as hand-drawn anime. It is meant for a user's own videos or templates. Adapt is for a winner from another creator: it keeps the hook, pacing and emotional beats, then builds new footage around the user's story, product, character and language. A creation mode also writes a video from scratch from a written creative direction, with lengths from 4 to 45 seconds. In practice, a user pastes a TikTok link, uploads a Reel or Short, or picks a template from the library. Riffkit extracts the structure, then renders a version with the chosen product image, a locked character and an optional voice sample of 4 to 15 seconds. Output is generated natively in nine languages, with captions timed to the voiceover, music that ducks under speech, and a caption, hashtags and cover frame included. Videos render at 9:16 by default, with other ratios available, and can be reframed later. Everything made comes with commercial rights. The audience is performance marketers running TikTok and Meta ad tests, TikTok Shop and affiliate sellers who need many angles on one product, and digital-human or personal-brand accounts that post daily with one persona. Billing is per second of output, with rates shown before rendering. Riffkit also installs as a skill that an AI assistant can call, which sets it apart from general video generators and from freelance or agency UGC production, both of which it positions itself against on turnaround time.

How do you use Riffkit?

  1. 1Open the studio
Go to the Riffkit app in a browser and choose Swap to keep a video's shots or Adapt to keep a winner's formula.
  2. 2Pick a source
Paste a TikTok link, upload a Reel or Short, or start from a proven template in the library.
  3. 3Set character, product and language
Add a product image, choose or lock a character (optionally with a 4 to 15 second voice sample) and select an output language.
  4. 4Write a creative direction
Describe the scene, captions, pacing and how the product enters the shot. The direction is optional when riffing but required when creating from scratch.
  5. 5Check the rate and render
Review the per-second rate shown before rendering, then generate. Preview the first section free, then download the video with its caption and hashtags.
  6. 6Try the agent skill
To automate riffs, install the Riffkit skill, connect it once, and ask your AI assistant to riff a video.
