Learn moreVoice notes that become tasks, events and notes in your apps

TellDone turns spoken notes into tasks, calendar events and structured notes, then syncs them to tools like Todoist, Notion and Apple Calendar. It runs on iPhone, Apple Watch and the web, supports 60+ languages and has a free plan.
TellDone is a voice-first planning app that listens to a spoken note and sorts it into tasks, calendar events, reminders and structured notes. A single recording can hold several unrelated thoughts, such as a call to make, a report deadline and an errand, and the AI separates them, assigns dates and files each item without forms or menus. The company puts the turnaround at roughly 10 to 30 seconds from speech to a finished result. The app targets people who think faster than they type: commuters, busy professionals and anyone who loses ideas while their hands are occupied. It runs on iPhone (iOS 18 or later), Apple Watch (Series 6 or later) and in a browser at app.telldone.app, and it understands more than 60 languages, including switching languages mid-sentence. Apple-specific hooks include the Action Button, a Control Center widget, Lock Screen Live Activity, Siri Shortcuts and background recording. Audio can also be captured offline and synced later, and users can type text or import an audio file of up to 100 MB for the same analysis. In practice, each recording is transcribed, classified into one of seven note types (Task, Idea, Meeting, Status, Info, Event or Reflection), titled, summarized and tagged. Smart Context can tick off a matching task when the user says it is finished, and a follow-up such as moving something to Friday updates the original item, with a change history and undo. Higher tiers add daily, weekly and monthly reports with productivity analysis. TellDone positions itself as a feeder for existing tools rather than a replacement. It connects to Apple Calendar, Apple Reminders, Things 3, Google Tasks, Todoist, Notion and Microsoft To Do, and offers email forwarding, signed webhooks, Zapier, Make and n8n routing, plus an MCP server for AI agents. Compared with the built-in Voice Memos app or a plain transcription tool, it adds the structuring and syncing step, though its strongest experience is tied to Apple devices and paid plans unlock most integrations.
