What is VOX Factory?

VOX Factory is an audio editing tool that turns MIDI, lyrics or your own voice into finished AI vocals. VOX Factory is a browser and desktop vocal synthesizer that turns MIDI melodies and lyrics, or your own sung takes, into studio-quality AI vocals in English, Korean and Japanese.

VOX Factory is a vocal production suite built around an AI singing synthesizer. The workflow is closer to a vocal editor than to a prompt box: you supply a melody as MIDI, add lyrics, and the engine renders a sung performance. Alternatively, you can sing a part yourself and convert it, or pull melody and lyrics out of an existing recording with Voice to MIDI and rebuild the vocal with a different character. The suite is aimed at songwriters, producers and composers who need finished lead vocals, cover versions, guide vocals or choir parts without booking a session singer. The voice library is organized around named characters rather than generic presets, each tagged with genre strengths and a language. English, Korean and Japanese are supported natively, and a single phrase can mix all three. Voices are recorded from real singers and licensed through AudAi, which matters if you plan to release commercially. The site states that copyright in the finished song belongs to the user, that streaming distribution is allowed, and that the vocals themselves cannot be resold or used to train other AI models. Editing is deliberately compact. Four controls (intensity, vibrato, pre-bend and post-bend) cover most stylistic shaping, and a pitch curve editor handles fine detail such as legato phrasing or expressive vibrato. Partial Rendering re-synthesizes only the notes you changed, which keeps the edit loop fast. A Voice Changer keeps your own phrasing while swapping in a different character, which is useful for demos where the melody is already right. It sits between a DAW plugin and a standalone tool. The web app and desktop builds for macOS and Windows share the same experience and store projects in the cloud, while the VOX Link plugin syncs playback, tempo and time signature with a DAW. Compared with a full singing-synth editor it is lighter and faster to learn; compared with prompt-only song generators it gives far more control over the actual performance, at the cost of requiring a melody to start from.

How do you use VOX Factory?

  1. 1Open the workspace
Start VOX Factory in the browser or install the desktop app for macOS or Windows. Both routes use the same interface and the same cloud project storage.
  2. 2Pick a vocal character
Browse the character list and filter by language and genre. Each profile lists the styles the voice was recorded for, such as rock, K-pop or jazz.
  3. 3Enter melody and lyrics
Import or draw a MIDI melody, then type the lyrics beneath the notes. You can also sing a take and run Voice to MIDI to extract the melody and words automatically.
  4. 4Shape the performance
Use intensity, vibrato, pre-bend and post-bend to set the delivery, then fine-tune the pitch curve by dragging nodes where you want slides or vibrato detail.
  5. 5Render and export
Partial Rendering updates only the notes you edited so you can audition changes quickly. Export the finished vocal as audio for your DAW or release.
  6. 6Sync with your DAW
Get the VOX Link plugin from your plan page and load it in your DAW to keep playback, tempo and time signature aligned while audio streams across.
