What is Aident Loadout?

Aident Loadout is a managed capability layer that connects AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor to 1,000+ apps, 27,000+ actions and 400+ skills, with a credential vault and an audit trail of every action.

Aident Loadout is a capability layer that sits between AI agents and the business apps they need to act on. Instead of wiring up separate accounts, API keys and plans for every service, a user connects apps once inside Loadout and then reuses that setup across the agents they already work with. The catalog spans more than 1,000 apps, 27,000 individual actions and over 400 expert-built skills covering development, research, sales, content and operations. The product is aimed at people who run coding agents or chat assistants and hit the wall where the agent can reason and write but cannot reach their calendar, repository, CRM or inbox. Installation starts with a short prompt pasted into an agent, or a one-click install for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. After that, apps are connected from a dashboard. OAuth sign-ins happen in the browser, while API keys and delegated credentials are held in a vault, so the agent receives action results rather than raw provider credentials. A typical request, such as summarizing the last day's GitHub pull requests and emailing the digest through Gmail, is carried out through the connected apps without extra glue code. Visibility is a central part of the design. An audit view records what ran, where the call originated, whether it succeeded and what it cost. Some built-in apps use Aident-managed access funded by a single USD balance, which removes the need to hold separate subscriptions, while others need the user's own OAuth account or a stored credential. Apps missing from the catalog can be requested or added as custom apps through their API. Compatibility is broad: Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, OpenClaw, HermesAgent, Antigravity, VS Code-style clients, ChatGPT, Claude Desktop and other MCP-compatible clients are listed. Among alternatives, it competes with do-it-yourself MCP server collections and general integration platforms, trading some control over each connector for a managed catalog, bundled billing and a ready library of skills.

How do you use Aident Loadout?

  1. 1Install Loadout in your agent
Paste the setup prompt into a coding agent, or use the one-click install for Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. The prompt points the agent to Aident's setup instructions.

Ask the agent in plain language to use Loadout, for example to summarize daily pull requests and email the result through Gmail.
  5. 5Review the audit log
Check the audit view to confirm what ran, whether it succeeded and what it cost, then adjust connected apps as needed.
  6. 6Read the docs
Use the Loadout documentation for setup details, supported clients and custom app connections.
