Is Your Site Agent-Ready? by Cloudflare is a developer tool. A Cloudflare scanner that grades a website against agent-readiness standards such as robots.txt, Markdown negotiation, MCP Server Cards, Agent Skills, OAuth discovery and agentic commerce protocols, then generates improvement instructions you can paste into a coding agent.
Is Your Site Agent-Ready? is a free diagnostic scanner from Cloudflare that inspects a public website and returns a readiness report against the emerging standards that AI agents rely on. The premise is straightforward: as automated agents browse, authenticate and transact on the web, sites that publish machine-readable signals become easier for those agents to discover and use. The scanner tests for those signals so owners can see, in one pass, what is present and what is missing.
The checks are grouped into five areas. Discoverability covers robots.txt, sitemaps, link response headers and DNS for AI Discovery (DNS-AID). Content Accessibility looks at Markdown content negotiation. Bot Access Control reads AI bot rules, Content Signals and Web Bot Auth. Protocol Discovery is the largest bucket, spanning an MCP Server Card, Agent Skills, WebMCP, an API Catalog, OAuth discovery, OAuth Protected Resource, Auth.md, an A2A Agent Card, an ARD manifest, a Personal Agent Protocol entry and more. Commerce rounds things out with x402, MPP, UCP and ACP.
In practice the workflow is short: paste a URL, optionally choose a site type (Content Site or API / Application) and toggle individual checks, then run the scan. Results list which checks passed and which did not, and the tool generates a set of improvement instructions meant to be pasted into a coding agent such as Cursor, Claude Code or Copilot. Cloudflare suggests starting with robots.txt plus sitemap directives as the easy win.
The obvious comparison is a general SEO audit tool, but the target audience is narrower: developers, platform engineers and technical SEO leads preparing infrastructure for agent traffic rather than human crawlers. Scores reflect draft or emerging proposals that may shift, and Cloudflare states the recommendations are AI-generated and should be reviewed. The scanner reports on readiness; interpreting and implementing the fixes is still on you and your stack.
