Kineo is a text-to-video tool that turns one topic into a finished faceless YouTube Short. Kineo generates finished faceless 9:16 YouTube Shorts from a one-line topic or pasted script, with AI script, voiceover, footage and captions. Users choose among video engines such as Veo 3.1, Kling 3 and Seedance 1.5, on credit-based monthly plans.
Kineo is a web-based video generator aimed at people who run faceless short-form channels. The user types a one-line topic, or pastes a finished script, and the service assembles a vertical 9:16 video with a written script, a recorded voiceover, matched footage and burned-in captions. The pitch is that the whole toolchain a creator would normally stitch together (script writer, voice tool, editor, stock library) collapses into a single prompt box. A key feature is engine choice. Depending on the plan and the look wanted, a project can be rendered with models such as Veo 3.1, Kling 3, Kling 2.5, Seedance 1.5 or MiniMax H3, and each example card on the site is labeled with the engine that produced it. A faster default mode usually finishes in a few minutes, while cinematic renders take longer because every scene is generated before the final MP4 is composed. Kineo also bundles an image studio with six engines, a text-to-speech voice studio with four engines, a one-click Topaz-based enhance step for sharper output, and a reusable host setup so voice, style and captions stay consistent across episodes. The audience is mostly solo creators building niche channels (mystery, money, history, space, horror, stoicism and similar), plus agencies, freelancers and small businesses that need ad variations or client deliverables. The site also offers a Claude connector for drafting a video inside Claude and rendering it in the studio, and a separate ads tool that produces three variations from one product. Within the market, Kineo sits closer to idea-to-video generators than to clipping tools. Its own comparison table sets it against OpusClip, HeyGen and Submagic, arguing that those mostly re-cut an uploaded video or rely on avatars. Pricing is credit-based on monthly plans, new accounts in supported countries get a small free credit balance, and trial exports carry a watermark. Credits are refunded automatically when a render fails, and the terms state that users keep ownership of what they generate.
