Learn moreBrowser studio that turns text ideas into 2D game art and playable games

Makko AI is a web studio for making 2D games from text prompts. It generates consistent concept art, characters, animations and backgrounds, then builds a playable browser game from plain-English descriptions and shares it by link.
Makko AI is a browser-based studio for building 2D games without drawing or programming. It combines an art generator with a code generator, so a creator can move from a written idea to concept art, characters, animated sprites, backgrounds and a playable game inside one workspace. The workflow starts with a Collection. The user describes a world, and the tool produces concept art that sets the visual direction. From there, characters can be developed with specific gear, armor and details, and the tool outputs a reference sheet. Animations such as walk, idle and attack are generated from a short description. Backgrounds, biomes, buildings and props are added the same way, and the Collection keeps every asset in a matching style, which addresses the drift that often appears when assets come from separate image generators. The Code Studio handles the game logic. The user explains the game in plain English, and the AI assembles it using the characters and art already created, then runs it in the browser. The product's FAQ lists platformers, puzzle games, arcade shooters and RPG-style games as examples, ranging from single-screen projects to multi-level ones. Finished games can be published with a shareable link, and assets can be exported, so the Art Studio can also be used on its own for projects built elsewhere. According to the site, creators keep full ownership and Makko takes no revenue share on commercial releases. Usage is metered. A free tier gives a monthly art budget plus weekly AI coding requests, and paid subscriptions and one-time credit top-ups add capacity. Animations cost far more credits than static images, which shapes how far the free allowance goes. Makko suits solo developers, game jam participants, hobbyists and prototypers who want a working concept quickly. Compared with general image generators, it focuses on style consistency and playability. Compared with traditional engines, it trades fine-grained control for speed and a low entry barrier.
