What is Pixelvibe?

Pixelvibe is a games tool. Pixelvibe, now part of Rosebud AI, generates game-ready 2D sprites, animated sprite sheets, 3D models and 360° skyboxes from prompts. Credits are shared across tools, free accounts get daily credits, and free 3D model and skybox libraries are included.

Pixelvibe began as Rosebud's first 2D game asset tool and has since been folded into the Rosebud AI asset suite. The suite now covers four standalone generators: a 2D asset generator, a sprite sheet and animation generator, a 3D model generator and a skybox generator. All of them share one account and one pool of credits, and each can be used without building a game on Rosebud. The 2D generator takes a written description of a character sprite, prop, item icon, UI frame, background or tile and returns a single PNG. Sprites, icons, UI pieces and portraits come back with a transparent background, and the art style (pixel art, isometric, hand-painted) is requested in the prompt. The animation tool turns a character or prop into a pixel art sprite with idle, walk, attack, jump or custom motion, exported as a sprite sheet, JSON frame data and a GIF. The 3D tool accepts a photo, sketch or text description and offers a choice of Rosie, Tripo and Meshy as the underlying model, with the price shown before generation. Supported humanoid characters made from text are rigged and animated at no extra cost. The skybox tool produces seamless 360° scenes that can be converted to cubemaps, including a Roblox-ready set. The audience is indie developers, jam participants, hobbyists and prototypers who need usable art quickly without a dedicated artist. Output formats are standard (PNG, GLB, equirectangular images), so files load into Unity, Godot, Unreal, GameMaker, Phaser, Construct, Three.js, Blender and Roblox Studio. Free libraries of thousands of 3D models and hundreds of skyboxes can be downloaded without spending credits. Among alternatives, it sits between general image generators, which rarely deliver transparent, engine-ready sprites, and specialist single-purpose tools for 3D or pixel art. The advantage is breadth under one credit balance and a direct path into the Rosebud game editor, where the AI called Rosie can place generated assets into a project. The tradeoff is a credit-metered model, with commercial rights tied to paid plans.

How do you use Pixelvibe?

  1. 1Choose a generator
Pick the 2D asset, sprite animation, 3D model or skybox tool, or start from a free library asset. All of them draw on the same credits.
  2. 2Describe the 2D asset
Write the character, prop, icon or tile you need and name the style, such as pixel art or isometric. The price shows before you generate.
  3. 3Animate a sprite
Turn a character into a sprite sheet by choosing idle, walk, attack, jump or a custom motion and a camera view. Export the PNG sheet, JSON timing and GIF.
  4. 4Generate or download a 3D model
Enter a description, photo or sketch and choose Rosie, Tripo or Meshy. Alternatively download a free GLB from the library.
  5. 5Create a skybox
Describe a sky or space scene, preview it in 360° and download it as an equirectangular image, cubemap ZIP or Roblox ZIP.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Four asset types (2D, animation, 3D, skyboxes) share a single account and credit balanceAI
  • Exports are standard formats such as PNG, GLB, JSON frame data and cubemaps that major engines importAI
  • Free daily credits plus free libraries of thousands of 3D models and hundreds of skyboxesAI
  • Price is shown before each generation, so credit spend is predictableAI
  • Humanoid 3D characters made from text are rigged and animated at no extra costAI

Cons

  • Everything generated is credit-metered, and a single skybox costs 2,000 credits, which can drain a free allowance fastAI
  • Commercial rights are stated as part of paid plans, which limits free-tier use in released gamesAI
  • Models made from an uploaded image are static, with no automatic riggingAI
  • Sound effects and music are generated only inside the Rosebud editor, not as standalone toolsAI
  • The original Pixelvibe brand has been retired, so older tutorials and links may point to a different interfaceAI
