What is Screen Browser?

Screen Browser is a generative video tool that records narrates and exports web app demo videos from a plain-language guide. Screen Browser turns a plain-language guide into a narrated MP4 demo of your web app, plus GIF, subtitles and chapters.

Screen Browser produces demo and tutorial videos of web apps without a screen recorder or an editor. A project is connected to a deployed app through its URL and a demo user that signs in with email and password. A guide then describes what to show, written as plain-language steps with a quoted sentence every few steps that becomes the narration. Guides can be pasted from a help article or runbook, generated from a one-line description of a feature, or written by a coding agent that reads the source code. In practice, the workflow has a free check stage and a paid run stage. The check walks the guide inside the live app and returns a screenshot per step, so broken steps surface before any minutes are spent. A run then signs in inside a separate, unrecorded browser context, records the walkthrough, adds narration, captions, highlights and other effects, and merges the result into an MP4. A GIF, subtitles in VTT and SRT, chapter text and a thumbnail come with it. When the app changes, the same guide is rerun rather than re-recorded, and a run that fails is not charged. The product is aimed at SaaS teams, product marketers, documentation owners and solo makers who ship interface changes often. It supports seventeen narration languages, Standard and Studio voices, a custom ElevenLabs voice on the user's own key, and branded openings and endings built from an uploaded logo, colours and font. Guides can also be recorded in mobile emulation (iPhone, Pixel, iPad) as vertical videos in a phone frame. It operates as an MCP server, so Claude Code, Codex and Cursor can create projects and fetch finished videos, and a signed webhook announces completed runs with download links. Compared with manual screen recording tools or avatar-based video generators, the tradeoff is reach versus repeatability. It only handles web apps reachable from the internet with simple email login, and it does not record native mobile apps. Plans are priced in minutes of finished video rather than seats, which suits teams re-recording on every release more than occasional one-off clips.

How do you use Screen Browser?

  1. 1Create a project and connect your app
Enter the app URL, a demo user that signs in with email and password, and the text or path that confirms the login worked. Seed the demo account with realistic data.
Screen Browser — Create a project and connect your app
  2. 2Write or generate the guide
Paste a help article, describe the feature in a sentence, or have a coding agent write ten to twenty-five steps. Add a quoted sentence every few steps for narration.
Screen Browser — Write or generate the guide
  3. 3Run the free check
The check walks the guide in your live app and shows a screenshot per step, so missing buttons or wrong labels are caught before recording.
  4. 4Pick voice, language and branding
Choose a narration language and voice, then upload a logo, colours, font and call to action for the opening and ending.
Screen Browser — Pick voice, language and branding
  5. 5Record and download the exports
Start the run and collect the MP4, GIF, subtitles, chapters and thumbnail from the run page, or receive them through a webhook.
Screen Browser — Record and download the exports
  6. 6Connect a coding agent (optional)
Add Screen Browser as an MCP server so Claude Code, Codex or Cursor can write guides and start runs from your codebase.
