SongGifter is a web app that turns a short personal story into a custom song you can give as a gift. You describe the recipient, a memory, an inside joke, or what makes them special, and the service writes lyrics and produces a full track. The process is built for people with no musical background: you supply the details, SongGifter handles the writing and production, and the result is a 2 to 3 minute MP3 you can download and share. The workflow is preview first, pay later. You start for free and do not need a card to hear the finished song. After you submit your story, SongGifter generates the lyrics and a complete track in roughly 2 to 3 minutes. You can listen to the entire song before deciding. If you like it, a one-time payment of $34.99 unlocks the studio-quality MP3 and a shareable gift page. If not, you walk away without paying. It is aimed at gift givers rather than musicians: birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, and similar occasions where a personal gesture matters more than production polish. The site shows full example tracks by occasion and recipient type, so you can judge the style before starting. Reviews cited on the site mention easy small tweaks after the preview. Compared with hiring a custom song writer or using a general music generator, SongGifter narrows the job to one outcome: a gift-ready song built from a story, with the preview acting as the safety net. The trade-off is a single fixed format and a fixed price rather than a studio of controls. For buyers who want a quick, low-risk personal gift, that simplicity is the point.
