What is AppIconKitchen?

AppIconKitchen is an icon generator tool. AI app icon generator that turns a written app description into project-ready icon sets for iOS, Android, Web and PWA, including an Xcode asset catalog, Android mipmap folders and a manifest.json. Two signup credits cover the first icon, and every export is yours to ship.

AppIconKitchen turns a written app description into finished launcher icons, then packages the files each platform expects. A single prompt in any language drives the generation, with optional controls for visual style and a primary color when the default direction is not what you want. The output is not a placeholder mockup: every export includes a 1024px master plus the exact size ladder used by iOS, Android and web, so the icon can move into a repository the same day it is created. The export structure is where the product separates itself from generic image generators. iOS teams receive an AppIcon.appiconset folder with 20 PNG entries and a Contents.json, ready to drag into Xcode. Android teams get mipmap-mdpi through mipmap-xxxhdpi launcher PNGs and a separate Play Store icon, with adaptive foreground and background layers plus the mipmap-anydpi-v26 XML available once a separated foreground exists. Web and PWA projects receive favicon.ico, PNG favicons, an Apple Touch icon, maskable 192px and 512px icons, a manifest.json and HTML reference code. Flutter and Expo workflows are covered through dedicated generator pages that map to flutter_launcher_icons and app.json paths. The tool is aimed at indie developers, small product teams and anyone shipping an app without a designer on hand. It is a narrow utility rather than a general design suite: there is no illustration editor and no brand system. Instead it competes with template-based icon makers and manual resizing scripts on speed and on the completeness of the handoff. Each generated icon costs two credits, and a run can produce between one and four concepts so a founder can compare directions before committing. Fine-tuning continues in Workbench after the first generation, and the ZIP is yours to ship.

How do you use AppIconKitchen?

  1. 1Describe your app in the prompt field
Enter one clear description of the app, up to 800 characters, in any language. Style and primary color are optional; leaving them blank lets the system follow the prompt.

  2. 2Pick a visual style and concept count
Choose one of the available visual styles and decide whether to generate one to four concepts. Each icon consumes two credits, so the concept count sets the size of the run.
  3. 3Generate and compare the concepts
Run the generation and review the batch, which shares the same prompt and style. Select the strongest direction to carry forward.
  4. 4Refine in Workbench if needed
Continue in Workbench to adjust the chosen icon before export. Export can be triggered as soon as the result is ready.
  5. 5Export the project-ready ZIP
Download the ZIP containing the 1024px master, an AppIcon.appiconset for iOS, mipmap folders for Android, and web or PWA icons with manifest.json.
  6. 6Check the size guide for platform details
Use the size guide to confirm the exact pixel dimensions and file names for iOS, Android and web before wiring the assets into your project.
