OpenMusic AI

OpenMusic AI generates full songs from text prompts or lyrics, with royalty-free commercial licensing. It also includes a lyrics writer, vocal remover, stem splitter, AI mastering and music video tools, with a limited free tier and four paid plans.

OpenMusic AI is a browser-based music generator that turns text prompts or user-written lyrics into complete songs. Users pick a genre, mood and instruments, choose between a simple and a custom mode or an instrumental-only option, and receive a finished track. The site states that tracks can run up to eight minutes and that generation takes under a minute. Every output is marketed as royalty-free and cleared for commercial use, with a license document supplied for each song. Beyond generation, the product bundles a set of related utilities in one account. An AI lyrics generator drafts rap verses, pop hooks or ballads that can be refined before being set to music. A vocal remover and stem splitter separate vocals from instrumentals for acapellas, karaoke backing tracks or remixes. AI mastering balances levels and adds clarity to a finished mix. Other listed tools include AI song covers, audio-to-MIDI conversion, a lo-fi converter, reverb slowing, a BPM tapper, a photo-to-music generator and an AI music video generator. The intended audience is broad: YouTube creators, podcasters, game developers, filmmakers, indie artists, DJs and small businesses that need background music or scores without hiring a composer or booking studio time. Producers can also use the editing and mastering tools to polish demos. Musical training is not required, since the workflow starts from a typed description. Access is credit-based. A free tier gives a small yearly allotment of credits and generations, while four paid plans (Starter, Hobby, Professional and Studio) raise the quota and add features such as unlimited downloads and round-the-clock email support. Among alternatives, OpenMusic sits with other prompt-to-song services, and its main differentiator is the breadth of post-production tools and the license bundled with every plan, rather than a single specialized generator. Buyers weighing it against competitors should compare credit allowances, since the free tier is limited.
