Learn moreDesktop overlay that drafts interview answers live as questions land

PiriPiri AI is a Mac and Windows overlay that transcribes both sides of an interview call and drafts suggested answers in real time, excluded from screen capture. It starts with three free sessions and then sells session packs or a monthly plan.
PiriPiri AI is a desktop overlay built for people who want live assistance during a job interview. It runs as a small window on the laptop, listens to the conversation in real time, and writes a suggested answer while the interviewer is still finishing the question. Both sides of the call are captured: the user's microphone and the system audio of the meeting, so the tool follows context as the discussion moves rather than reacting to isolated prompts. In practice, the overlay shows a running transcript and a panel of answers. A mode switch lets the user choose between automatic answering and manual triggering with a keyboard shortcut, and an answer style setting such as concise controls length. Beyond the first draft, the panel offers quick actions like asking what to say, generating follow-ups, and recapping the conversation, plus a free-form box for questions about what has been said. Because audio is taken from the system rather than from a meeting bot, it works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex and similar tools, and the interviewer does not need to install anything. The overlay is a frameless, always-on-top window excluded from operating-system screen capture, so ordinary screen sharing omits it. The vendor itself advises testing the exact meeting setup before an important call. It currently targets Apple Silicon Macs and 64-bit Windows 10 and 11, and needs microphone and screen-recording permission. Transcripts are stored in the account until deleted, and the site notes that recording laws vary and often require consent from all parties. Pricing is session based. New accounts receive three free sessions of ten minutes each, after which users buy one-time packs that never expire or take a small monthly plan with a set number of hour-long sessions. Answers, chat and notes carry no extra charge. Compared with interview assistants priced at tens of dollars a month, it positions itself as a cheaper pay-as-you-go option, with dedicated pages for technical and behavioral interview use.
